When does Vale Forever drop?
Usually Friday, at around 10:30am ET. Vale does not run a tiered early-access system the way some brands do — when it goes live, it goes live for everyone.
Two things make Vale less predictable than most:
- Random midweek restocks. Vale occasionally puts individual products up on its site at odd points during the week, outside any scheduled drop. Checking in more than once a week genuinely pays off with this brand.
- The time has moved before. There have been Friday drops at 9am ET, though not for a while. 10:30am is the current pattern rather than a fixed rule.
They do not drop every week
Frequency depends on where the brand is in a collection, so some weeks there is nothing at all. Following Vale on social media is the most reliable way to know when the next one lands — particularly given the midweek restocks, which are not announced on a schedule.

Do Vale Forever hoodies run true to size?
Vale hoodies run short and wide rather than small. They are cut cropped and boxy on purpose. Take your true size if you want that fit, and go one size up if you want a standard length.
Here is what that means in inches. This is the measured chart from a Vale Forever zip hoodie:

Look at the Large: 25.5 inches long and 26 inches wide. It is wider than it is long. From Medium upward every size is square or wider-than-tall, which is not how a normal hoodie is drafted — a typical large hoodie runs around 28 inches long and 23 across. So a Vale Large is roughly three inches wider and two and a half inches shorter than the hoodie you are picturing.
That is the whole story of the fit. Nothing is undersized; the proportions are just rotated.
How to choose: if you want the cropped look the brand shoots, take your usual size. If you want the hem to sit at your waistband instead of above it, take one up — you gain about half an inch of length and one inch of width per size, so sizing up adds width faster than length.

Do Vale Forever t-shirts run true to size?
Vale tees are boxy but far less cropped than the hoodies. Most people take their true size. Size up one if you want standard length.

A standard US large tee blank runs about 22 inches across and 29 to 30 long. A Vale Large is 25 inches across and 27.5 long — about three inches wider and two inches shorter. That is a real difference you will see in a mirror, but it is nothing like the hoodie.
The practical version: if you already wear boxy tees, your usual size is right. If you have only ever worn standard-fit tees, expect this to sit noticeably wider across the chest and a little higher at the hem.

What size Vale Forever jorts should I get?
Take your normal waist size. The tagged size is not the measured waist — Vale jorts measure about two inches larger than the number on the tag, and the drawcord waist takes up the rest.

Two things worth knowing here.
First, that +2 inch gap is consistent at every size — a tagged 30 measures 32, a tagged 36 measures 38. It is a deliberate allowance, not a tolerance, and it is why the drawcord exists instead of a button fly. If you are between sizes, size down rather than up; the cord will close the gap but it cannot take in a waist that is four inches too big.
Second, we compared this chart across several completely different jorts models in our stock and the numbers were identical every time. Vale appears to cut all of its jorts on one block, so once you know your jorts size you know it for the whole category regardless of wash or colourway.
The hip measurement is the part people underestimate. Fifty inches across the hip on a size 34 is genuinely wide — these are meant to fall well below the knee and hang, not skim.

How do Vale long sleeves, thermals, rugbys and flannels fit?
This is the most forgiving part of the range. Long sleeves, waffle thermals, rugby shirts and flannels all run close to true to size — still slightly boxy and slightly cropped, but nowhere near as short as the hoodies. Take your usual size.
The rugbys are the closest thing Vale makes to a normal fit, because a collared shirt has to sit on the shoulders properly to work at all. Flannels are cut roomy enough to wear as an outer layer over a tee.

How do Vale sweatpants, pants and jackets fit?
Every bottom Vale makes is cut oversized and baggy. Take your usual size — sizing up on a bottom that is already oversized is how people end up returning things.
Sweatpants, pants and jorts are all wide through the thigh, and sweatpants run long enough to sit over most footwear without stacking.
Jackets are cut roomy enough to layer a hoodie underneath, which is how they are meant to be worn. Given the hoodies are cropped, the proportions work out.

What do A, B, C and D mean on a Vale size chart?
Vale labels its measurements with letters rather than words, and the diagram beside the table shows where each one is taken. On tops:
- A — Length. Top of the shoulder straight down to the hem.
- B — Width. Straight across the chest, armpit to armpit, laid flat. This is not a chest circumference — double it for that.
- C — Sleeve length. Shoulder seam to cuff.
On bottoms, A is the waist laid flat, B is the widest point across the hip, C is the inseam and D is taken across the hem. Everything is measured in inches and taken flat, which is the single most common source of confusion — a 23 inch "width" is a 46 inch chest, not a 23 inch one.
How to check your size without guessing
The fastest way to get this right is to skip your usual size entirely and measure something you already own and like the fit of.
- Lay the garment flat on a table and smooth it out. Do not stretch it.
- Measure straight across from armpit seam to armpit seam. That is your width number.
- Measure from the highest point of the shoulder straight down to the hem. That is your length number.
- Compare both against the chart on the product page.
If your favourite hoodie measures 23 across and 28 long, and a Vale Large is 26 across and 25.5 long, you now know exactly what you are getting: three inches wider, two and a half inches shorter. No guessing required.
Is Vale the same brand as Valley Dreams, Vale Lives or Vale Sports Division?
Yes — these are all the same label. Vale Forever goes by Vale for short, and the rest are names that appear across its own graphics and labelling rather than separate brands or collaborations.
- Valley Dreams is the script that runs across more Vale pieces than any other graphic. It is a print, not a sub-label.
- Vale Lives is how the brand signs itself, including on social.
- Vale Sports Division and Valley Sport Division appear on the size charts and on chest crests. Vale also uses Sports Division as the name of one of its own stores.
- Valley State and VSU are collegiate-styled graphics that run across tees, shorts and pants.
- VSX is another print family in the same vein.
None of these changes the sizing. A piece marked Valley Dreams is cut on the same block as a piece marked Vale.
Why does my Vale hoodie say EST. 1997?
Because it is part of the artwork. The crest on several Vale pieces reads VALLEY SPORT DIVISION EST. 1997, which is a design device in the vein of a varsity or team patch — the brand itself dates its founding to 2014. Vintage-styled dates printed on collegiate graphics are a streetwear convention, not a claim about the company's age.
What does "bling" mean on a Vale piece?
It means the piece has rhinestones on it. If a product name includes bling, iced out, or references stones or crystals, the graphic is set in rhinestones rather than screen printed.
These need slightly different care: wash cold, inside out, and hang dry. Heat is what loosens set stones, so a dryer will do more damage than any number of washes.
Is Vale Forever legit, and why are there so many "official" Vale sites?
The brand is real and so is the counterfeit problem. Search the name and a large share of the first page is taken up by lookalike storefronts presenting themselves as the official Vale shop — near-identical templates, permanent sitewide discounts, and "official store" language the brand does not use itself.
A few things that consistently separate them from the real thing:
- A permanent sale. Everything discounted, always, with a countdown that never ends.
- Template sameness. Several of these sites are visibly the same build with a different domain.
- No measured charts. Counterfeit listings almost never carry the garment's own measurement chart, because they do not have the garment.
- Stock photos only, with no close-ups of labels, stitching or hardware.
