Short version
- Drops are Friday and Saturday at noon ET. JTL members Friday, public Saturday.
- The site closes a few days after a drop.
- Tops are boxy and cropped — much like HMDD. A Large tee is 25 inches long by 24.5 across, so it is close to square.
- Bottoms are baggy, and a few runs are extremely baggy. Check the chart on the specific pair.
GV Gallery is a Los Angeles label whose team has stayed anonymous by choice. GV stands for GOLD+VINTAGE, and Raspberry Hills is the graphic that broke it out — it caught on far enough that plenty of people now use it as the brand name by mistake. Same label either way.
When does GV Gallery drop?
GV Gallery drops at noon ET on Friday and Saturday. JTL members get in on Friday, and the public drop is Saturday at the same time.
| Access | Day | Time (ET) |
|---|---|---|
| JTL members | Friday | 12:00pm |
| Public drop | Saturday | 12:00pm |
All times are US Eastern.
What is JTL?
JTL stands for Jump The Line. It is a paid monthly membership that gets you into the drop a full day ahead of the public.
It exists for the same reason every brand at this level ends up with one: the releases are small, the sellouts are fast, and a day of head start is worth real money to people who buy every drop. If a piece you want is popular, it can be gone before Saturday noon comes around.
The site closes after a drop
GV Gallery takes its store offline a few days after each drop. The site shuts rather than simply selling out, so a piece you were still thinking about disappears along with the whole shop.
They do not drop every week
Frequency depends on where the brand is in a collection — some weeks there is nothing. Following GV Gallery on social media is the most reliable way to know when the next one lands. The schedule above is the pattern, not a guarantee.
If you miss a drop, we hold stock from previous ones — see our GV Gallery collection.
Do GV Gallery t-shirts run true to size?
Yes, but they are cut boxy and cropped. A Large measures 25 inches long and 24.5 across — length and width are within half an inch of each other. Take your usual size.
This is the measured chart from a GV Gallery slub tee, in inches:
| Size | S | M | L | XL | XXL |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Length | 22.5" | 24" | 25" | 26" | 26.5" |
| Chest | 22" | 23.5" | 24.5" | 25.5" | 26.5" |
At XXL the two numbers are identical — 26.5 by 26.5. That is a genuinely square garment, and it is the clearest way to understand how GV cuts.
Against a standard large tee at roughly 29.5 long and 22 across, a GV Large is four and a half inches shorter and two and a half wider. If you already wear HMDD or Vale, this will feel familiar.
Do GV Gallery hoodies run true to size?
Yes. The brand's own spec cards say unisex, true to size, boxy wide fit. A Large hoodie is 24 inches long by 25 chest — wider than it is long.
The Vando hoodie chart, in inches:
| Size | XS | S | M | L | XL | XXL |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Length | 22.5" | 23" | 23.5" | 24" | 24.5" | 25" |
| Chest | 22" | 23" | 24" | 25" | 26.5" | 28" |
| Sleeve | 30" | 30.5" | 31" | 31.5" | 32" | 32.5" |
Note the sleeve figures — 30 to 32.5 inches. Those are measured from the centre back of the neck, not from the shoulder seam, which is why they look so long. Do not compare them against a shoulder-to-cuff number from another brand.
The grading is the thing to understand
Across the whole size run, length grows half an inch per size while chest grows one to one and a half. From XS to XXL you gain only 2.5 inches of length but 6 inches of chest.
The practical consequence: sizing up in GV Gallery makes a piece wider far more than it makes it longer. If a Large is not long enough for you, an XL will not really solve it — you will get half an inch of length and an inch and a half of width.
How do GV Gallery sweatpants fit?
Baggy — and some runs are extremely baggy. The cut varies more here than anywhere else in the range, so check the chart on the specific pair rather than assuming.
Sweatpants are the piece GOLD+VINTAGE sells most of. Washed fleece, elastic waist with a drawcord, elastic cuffs at the ankle, and a barrel-shaped leg rather than a tapered one. Waists measure roughly 28 to 38 inches on the elastic.
Where it gets less predictable is that certain runs are cut dramatically wider than the rest. The Weekday Baggy sweatpants say it in the name, and the Lemon Drop and Limon pairs sit at that same extreme end. Others — Casamigo, Agua, Calligraphy, R Sport — are baggy in the normal GV sense.
The takeaway: your GV top size is reliable across the range, but your GV bottoms size is not. Read the measurements on the pair you actually want.
The jeans and cargos follow the same idea, cut wide and straight through the leg.
What do the black spec cards mean?
GV Gallery puts a text card in most product galleries listing the build. They are genuinely informative and worth reading:
- Unisex — one cut, not a men's and women's block.
- True to size — the brand's own guidance, and the charts support it.
- Boxy wide fit — stated outright on several pieces.
- Screen printed graphic — the prints sit in the cloth, not raised on top of it.
- Potassium spray finish — a controlled fade applied before shipping.
- Deep hood, mid-weight brushed cotton — on the hoodies.
Is Raspberry Hills a different brand?
No. Raspberry Hills is GV Gallery's own graphic, not a separate label or a collaboration. It became the brand's signature, which is why the two names get used interchangeably.
The marks you will see across the range:
- RASPBERRY ATHLETICS and RASPBERRY BASKETBALL — arched collegiate prints
- BERRY GYM — gold circular hip prints with a dumbbell
- RASP — embroidered on the caps
- ST. BERRY H.S. 1939 — with a bulldog mascot
- Chenille script — on the heavier denim
As with the collegiate dates on other streetwear, ST. BERRY H.S. 1939 is artwork rather than a founding date.
What about the footwear and the GV Yard?
Two pieces sit apart from the apparel and get asked about constantly.
The GV Yard backpack is a leather backpack made in very small numbers, and the name is the joke — the build and monogram treatment take their cue from Goyard. It is the hardest GV Gallery piece to get hold of.
The El Plaga boot is the brand's hiker — camo panels, olive suede overlays, pink laces on a lugged sole. Footwear runs standard US sizing rather than the apparel grading described above.
How should I wash it?
Cold, inside out, hang dry. The potassium spray finish is a deliberate fade, and heat will carry on fading it unevenly. Screen prints run over seams on several pieces, which is exactly where a dryer cracks them first.
Where to buy GV Gallery
Everything we carry is bought either direct from the brand or from a partner who sources directly from the brand, so every piece traces back to the source. If anything about a supplier looks off, we do not buy it — our reputation is worth more than any single order. It ships from our own stock here in the US.
Closest in feel are Vale Forever, HMDD and Bottega Desires.
