New Balance is the brand that got here by not chasing it. It kept making wide, well-cushioned running shoes in the same factories for decades, and eventually the rest of the world came round to them.

The heart of this collection. A reworked, exaggerated take on the 99X series — bulbous midsole, wavy overlays, and a colour range that runs unusually soft. We carry Ivory Cream Pink Sand, Olivine, Fuchsia Pink, Triple Black, Black Castlerock, Calcium Sea Salt, Rose Sugar, Slate Grey Timberwolf, Rain Cloud Grey, Vintage Rose, Incense Arid Stone and Sea Salt White Cream.

Made in USA and collaborations

The Kith New Balance 993 MiUSA Knicks pairs in Navy and Ancient Scroll — built in New Balance's US factories rather than overseas, which is what MiUSA denotes. Alongside them, the Kith 2011 in Bark and Redwood, and the 740N JJJJound Mushroom.

Sizing

New Balance is the most width-friendly brand on this site — the standard fit is roomier than a comparable Nike, and many models exist in multiple widths. Most people take their true size. The 9060 in particular runs true but sits high-volume, so a narrow foot may want to lace it tighter rather than size down.
