Do We Are Righteous hoodies run true to size?
Yes in the shoulders, no in the proportions. Risen King zip hoodies run dramatically cropped and wide. Take your normal size for the fit the brand intends. Only size up if you specifically want more length — and know that you gain more width than length when you do.

Look at the Large: 24.4 inches long, 30.3 inches wide.
A normal large hoodie runs roughly 28 inches long and 23 across — five inches longer than it is wide. This one is nearly six inches wider than it is long. That is an eleven-inch swing in proportion against the hoodie you already own.
Nothing here is undersized. The shoulders and the sleeves will fit you normally. The body is simply drafted as a wide, short rectangle, which is the look the brand is going for and the reason it photographs the way it does.
What that means in practice
- If you are used to boxy fits, take your usual size and it will land where you expect.
- If you have only worn standard hoodies, expect the hem to sit noticeably higher — around the top of your waistband rather than below it.
- Sizing up gains about 1.2 inches of length and 1.2 of width per size. Unlike most brands, this one grows in both directions evenly, so going up one does not fix a cropped hem without also adding a lot of width.
- Layering works in your favour. A longer tee underneath is how most people wear these, and the width leaves room for it.

A Large is 27.5 inches long and 24.4 across. A standard large tee is about 29.5 long and 22 across, so this is roughly two inches shorter and two and a half wider. Noticeable, but not dramatic — this is a normal boxy streetwear tee.
The gap between the tee and the hoodie is the thing to internalise. The same size in a tee and a Risen King hoodie will not read the same on you at all. If you are buying both, that is expected rather than a mistake.
How do the Risen King sets work?
The zip hoodie and sweatpant are made as a pair but sold separately, so you can buy one half. Take the same size in both if you want the proportions the brand shot.
Risen King is the run the brand is known for, and it has been released across red, cream, moss, blue, purple, grey, pink and black, plus a mocha ComplexCon exclusive. Each colourway has a matching sweatpant.
Because the hoodie is cropped and the pants are cut long and baggy, a matched set reads short on top and heavy on the bottom by design. That contrast is the silhouette. Sizing the pants up to "balance" it usually just makes them drag.
Does anything in the range fit differently?
The Gods Favorite distressed cropped hoodie is the outlier. It is cut shorter again than the Risen King zips, which are already cropped. If you are ordering that one, read its own chart rather than assuming it matches.
Everything else follows the pattern: bottoms are cut roomy and baggy and should be taken in your usual size, and beanies and bracelets are one size. The Signature and Prestige polos sit closer to a normal fit than anything else here, because a collar has to sit on the shoulders to work.
What do A, B and C mean on the size chart?
We Are Righteous labels measurements with letters, and the diagram beside each table shows where they are taken.
- A — Length. Top of the shoulder straight down to the hem.
- B — Width. Straight across the chest, laid flat. Double it for chest circumference — a 30 inch width is a 60 inch chest, not a 30 inch one.
- C — Sleeve. Taken on the diagonal toward the cuff.
Everything is measured in inches and taken flat. You will notice some odd fractions on these charts — 24 2/5, 28 1/3, 29 1/10. Those are conversions from centimetres rather than typos.
The fastest way to get your size right
Skip your usual size and measure a hoodie you already own and like.
- Lay it flat, smooth it out, do not stretch it.
- Measure armpit seam to armpit seam. That is width.
- Measure the highest point of the shoulder straight down to the hem. That is length.
- Compare both to the chart on the product page.
If your favourite hoodie is 23 across and 28 long, and a Risen King Large is 30.3 across and 24.4 long, you now know exactly what is coming: seven inches wider, three and a half shorter.
What does WAR stand for?
We Are Righteous. The brand uses the initials on some pieces, so a tag or graphic reading WAR is the same label, not a different one.
The graphics say what the brand is: Risen King, Child of God, Fear No Evil, Bow to God, Christ Addiction, Peace Through Christ, Halo & Thorns, Our Savior. The artwork leans on tattoo-style religious imagery — sacred hearts, saints, roses — printed large across the body and wrapping onto the sleeves.
How should I wash it?
Cold, inside out, hang dry. The Risen King pieces carry large all-over prints that cover most of the garment, and heat is what cracks a print that size. The pearl-detailed shorts and cargos need the same treatment for the opposite reason — heat loosens set detailing.
